FULL DAY HUNTER VALLEY WINE TOUR

Come enjoy some of the Hunter Valley’s famous hospitality on our small group tour experience. Let us introduce you to the passion and generosity of the regions cellar doors.

  • Small group specialist (Max 12 people).
  • Visit 4 to 5 vineyards in the day.
  • Structured group tastings at each vineyard by a designated staff member.
  • A visit to one of the hunters famous cheese and chocolate shops is included in the day
  • Lunch is at own expense. We will visit a venue where you can buy a satisfying meal. Cafe, PUB, or Brewery affair.
  • Pick up/drop off direct from your accommodation.
  • Comfortable air conditioned vehicle.

  • Pokolbin / local $90pp
  • Private charter / Please enquire for private small group rates.
  • Tour cost does not include vineyard tasting fees. Allow $5pp for tasting fees at each vineyard. Some are redeemable on purchase of wine.

Pickups from Maitland and Newcastle can be arranged. We do not pick up from Sydney.

Frequently Asked Questions
    IS LUNCH INCLUDED?

        We do not include lunch in the price as we like to give our passengers a selection of choices. If you are dining at one of the Hunters great restaurants in the evening or have had a large breakfast you may want something light for lunch. If you are staying in for the evening, you may want a more substantial lunch. The choice is yours.

    HOW MANY PEOPLE ON ANY ONE TOUR?

        We take a maximum of 12-13 people. Many of the smaller boutique vineyards will only take small groups.

    WHAT ARE THE PICKUP TIMES?

        We time our first vineyard for 10:15 am. Pokolbin pickups are around the 10 am mark. Enough time for you to have breakfast and coffee.

    WHERE DO YOU PICKUP FROM?

        We pick up from the Pokolbin/Lovedale area. Nearby locations on request Newcastle and Maitland pickups can be arranged. We do not pick up from Sydney.

    WHAT WINERIES AND CELLAR DOORS WILL WE VISIT?

        We support the smaller boutique ventures of the Hunter Valley , on occasion we will include a larger old vine wine operation.

    CAN WE CHOOSE THE CELLAR DOORS WE VISIT?

        On a standard shared tour we choose the vineyards. On a private charter tour you are free to choose the vineyards.

    CAN WE EAT AND DRINK ON THE BUS?

        A small snack and bottled water is fine, but unfortunately we cannot take eskys of food or other alcoholic drinks.
